Mechanical Engineering Co-op

Overview:  The Toro Company, located in Bloomington, Minnesota is currently seeking a Co-op program student in their Commercial Engineering department for the Winter of 2017. We are especially interested in a student with skills in but not limited to: Statistical analysis, programming, electrical/mechanical component engineering, electrical/mechanical system engineering, and component quality engineering.  

  • Assignments are rotated each semester to give you exposure to different engineering departments such as testing and new product design.
  • Toro Commercial Engineering Co-op programs are project based. Examples for the possible projects will be provided to candidates during our interview process. 
  • A Co-op program position with Toro will provide you with a real world work experience and an opportunity to develop skills while working alongside an engineering leader in the field. The student can work on individual project as well as participates in a group project.  This position typically encompasses a large variation in type of work performed from writing specifications and performing studies, to testing and qualification of electrical/mechanical components and software.

Qualifications:  To be eligible for this program you must be a student currently enrolled in a preferred course of study degree program and should be at least a sophomore (or entering sophomore year) in that preferred course of study.  Please see our website at www.toro.com for additional information about the Toro Company.
